I used to live in the old speedway next door.and yeah you'd be surprised at the wildlife out there.to say it's all an old army camp is cool
My experience in Seymour. I recieved a message asking to review my experience in Seymour. Note to admin: be carefully what you ask for. I drove into town from Shepparton wondering how long the burnt out motor home had been sitting across from the unused weighbridge. Turned at the P.O.Dub (prince of wales hotel), past the cop shop, Aldi and under the low railway bridge (3.7m clearance), past the turn of to Mobs Siding, where I was stationed with the Army back in the 70's, head out of town past the old site 13 married quarters and off to Yea. In short, drove in one end of town and out the other.
Evpect to get stuck in a muddy ditch and to get your hand covered in dirt
Nice easy walk around the loop track. Can choose from 2 loop trails. It is a real bush walk, so be sure to wear closed in comfortable shoes. Watch out for snakes in the warmer months and take your own water as water not available at the park.
Great simple little park with a loop walking trail, limited picnic facilities and a public drop toilet. A good spot to get off the road and stretch your legs.
